I am the daughter of a union laborer and a librarian.  I know how important a well trained and educated workforce is, and that’s why fully funding public education is a top priority.  I am an adoptee with an Arab heritage, I know and value diversity and families in all forms.  I was a college athlete, I know and value hard work and dedication.  And I am a justice seeker, who is always looking for ways to make our community a better place.  I am here to fight for a better quality of life in Indiana, one with affordable and accessible healthcare, housing, child care and cost of living.  One with fully funded public schools and teachers that are supported and given every resource needed.  One with smart infrastructure and economic development plans.  And one where our neighbors and children are safe.
